The Wharfedale DM-57 is a dynamic moving-coil wired microphone designed for a wide range of vocal and instrumental applications in live sound and recording environments. Its supercardioid pickup pattern provides focused sound capture and more than 20dB of off-axis feedback rejection, making it suitable for demanding stage performances. With a frequency response of 50Hz–12kHz, the DM-57 delivers a warm and natural sound, supported by a slight bass proximity boost and mid-range presence that complement different vocal styles. Its ability to handle very high sound pressure levels without distortion makes it equally suitable for capturing vocals, electric guitar cabinets, drums, brass and other instruments. The microphone features a durable zinc-alloy housing and comes with an XLR female-to-XLR male cable.
