The Wharfedale Pro KMD-7 is a complete drum microphone package designed to capture the individual sounds of a drum kit in live performance and home studio recording environments. The kit consists of two KM3 condenser microphones for stereo overhead coverage, one KM4 dynamic microphone for kick drum and low-frequency instruments, and four KM5 dynamic microphones for snare and tom applications. The KM series combines cardioid and supercardioid polar patterns with excellent off-axis rejection to minimize unwanted noise and reduce feedback in live environments.
