The Ashdown Rootmaster RM-C210T-500 EVO II is a powerful yet lightweight bass combo amplifier designed to deliver 500 watts of performance without the weight typically associated with high-powered bass amplifiers. Weighing just 18kg, it features two 10-inch Ashdown White Line drivers for powerful bass response and reliable sound reproduction. Its versatile preamp includes separate passive and active instrument inputs, an input control and Ashdown's trademark VU meter for monitoring signal levels. Tone-shaping features include a Shape button, comprehensive 5-band EQ, built-in compressor, valve-emulated overdrive and sub-harmonic controls. An onboard headphone preamp supports silent practice, while the rear connections include balanced DI output, Line In, FX Loop, headphone output and a Neutrik Speakon/Jack connection for an additional 8-ohm extension cabinet. A mute switch allows silent tuning and instrument changes, with the VU meter changing from orange to blue when muted.
